Mission Statement

As a unified group of dog breed clubs with a mutual interest in the preservation and development of pointing dog field events in Nebraska; the Nebraska Field Trial Association through its member clubs, cooperates to provide licensed field events for pointing dogs on a state, regional and national level; to maintain the Associations grounds and facilities for use by member clubs for said purpose; to assist the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in the maintaining and nurturing habitat conducive for the propagation and lawful taking of game birds; and to undertake from time to time, other related charitable and educational endeavors as may be deemed appropriate.

Due to the expected heat, it has been decided that the July 22, 2017 NFTA Summer Meeting will be started at 10:30 am at the Branched Oak Field Trial Cabin. The award ceremony for the Joe Fingerlin Gun Dog of the Year and the Branched Oak Amateur Gun Dog of the Year will be presented at 11:30 am. Lunch will follow the ceremony.
